Atlas Fibre Company’s Skokie, IL facility has recently been approved for ISO 9001:2000 certification. The ISO 9001:2000 standard is the most comprehensive of the ISO 9000 quality series which provides a model for defining, implementing and measuring production systems and customer service.

To be certified as an ISO 9001:2000 company, Atlas Fibre Company must adhere to a rigid quality management system in all development, purchasing, manufacturing, quality assurance, testing, distribution, customer service, and specification adherence and delivery areas. The ISO certification is indicative of the company’s strong commitment to world-class quality in all aspects of their business.

Atlas Fibre Company, founded in 1957, manufactures and distributes numerous grades of phenolic, melamine and glass epoxy rods, sheets and tubes. In addition, Atlas is a highly respected aircraft quality fabricator of precision parts from all high temperature and high stress laminates as well as all non-metallic engineering materials.
