Process Engineer

  • Drive product quality improvement efforts by identifying manufacturing issues, developing cost-effective solutions including scrap reduction, and overseeing successful implementation of improvement methods into production.
  • Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to work with Production Associates to resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design.
  • Leverage advanced technology and solutions to monitor and improve productivity, while ensuring customer commitments are met in a timely, quality and cost-conscious manner.
  • Responsible for determining processes requiring validation, development of plans and analysis criteria, execution and final analysis and acceptance.
  • Develop new process and workstation designs to reduce cycle time and support the lean manufacturing initiative.
  • Resolve issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures.
  • Confer with engineers or other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information.
  • Develop, coordinate, or monitor all aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, or operation of product designs.
  • Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.

Salary Range [83,970-85,000] per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree or U.S. equivalent in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field, plus 3 years of professional experience implementing IT Quality Assurance and testing procedures to identify manufacturing issues and develop cost-effective solutions.

In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master’s Degree or U.S. equivalent in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field, plus 1 year of professional experience implementing IT Quality Assurance and testing procedures to identify manufacturing issues and develop cost-effective solutions.

Must also have 1 year of experience in the following: utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; developing and maintaining work plans, time schedules, project task lists, and status reports; defining, tracking, and monitoring key success measures associated with projects; evaluating downstream business systems, processes, and organizational impacts and identifying risks and barriers; and deploying and supporting change management and training plan.
