This collection of videos takes you straight onto the shop floor to see our advanced equipment and skilled team in action — delivering high-quality machined components that meet the most demanding specifications. See for yourself how we combine technology and craftsmanship to produce results you can trust.
PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone) is a thermoplastic renowned for its strength, thermal stability, and chemical resistance. Our team uses advanced CNC equipment to achieve tight tolerances and exceptional surface finishes, ensuring each component meets the most demanding engineering specifications. Atlas Fibre processes PEEK with speed, accuracy, and consistency—ideal for mission-critical applications in aerospace, medical, and semiconductor sectors.
As a production machining company, Atlas Fibre uses production equipment to efficiently produce up to six parts simultaneously. G10, an epoxy-grade thermoset composite known for its excellent electrical insulation and mechanical strength. Maximizing throughput does not compromise precision. This efficient multi-part process is a testament to our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality components at scale—ideal for electrical, aerospace, and industrial applications where reliability is paramount.
Atlas’ high-volume micro machining processes are capable of high-volume production of components with tolerances as tight at 0.0001” (0.0025mm). We frequently produce precision milled and turned components from a variety of thermoplastic and thermoset materials. This example is of FR4, a glass-reinforced epoxy laminate favored for its excellent dielectric properties and mechanical durability. This video highlights the tight tolerances and intricate detailing we achieve—even on small, delicate geometries—while maintaining production efficiency. It’s a clear example of how our advanced equipment and experienced team excel at fabricating FR4 parts for applications where size, accuracy, and performance intersect.
We frequently machine true 5-axis precision components up to 120 x 120 x 36”. The machining of a large, complex component on one of our advanced 5-axis milling centers. This example shows the use of simultaneous multi-axis motion to manufacture a part approximately 25” x 25” x 5”, enabling us to achieve exceptional dimensional accuracy and surface integrity, even on intricate geometries and hard-to-reach features. With full 5-axis capability, we’re able to reduce setups, increase precision, and handle oversized parts with confidence—perfect for demanding industries like aerospace, defense, and energy where size and complexity go hand in hand.
While G10 is known for its toughness and wear resistance, our experienced operators and dialed-in tooling strategies ensure clean edges, tight tolerances, and repeatable quality. In this clip, a G10 part is precision-machined using one of our high-speed 4-axis Horizontal CNC mills, favored for their fast changeovers and pallet changers, meaning we can produce multiple small lots efficiently– balancing material integrity, accuracy, and production speed for reliable results in electrical and structural applications.
